find a different tester
Wrong!
the retest must be done at the same testing station within 10 working day
and it can be charged for up to half the cost of the mot test

Ok then,just finished.
Patched the boot up in the end to please the Nazi/MOT tester.
Going to take the boot out when the weather gets better, replace straps and rub down/paint up supports. Then going to tac the new floor in.
Also the wheel bearing he failed me on turned out to be the swivel bearing
Took out 4 of the shims tightened it all up again, problem gone!
Have just ordered the new bearing kit to give me something to do next weekend.
