If they have been played with you can't really get them back to standard unless they go on a machine. But i suppose you can get them close enough. We return to the people playing with things they don't really understand scenario. :D:D

It's just as well the Tdi's are pretty tolerant.

If I stopped playing with things I didn't understand I'd never learn anything and my sex life would be a bit dull :D:p

Coffee,

Why not contact the Boost Pin supplier and ask? Gotta be worth an email......

Although I seem to remember something about the white plastic washer in the video instructions......

as far as i understand it, thick black smoke on full boost (which mine does) is overfueling and the star wheel needs taking back (anti clockwise)

The pin cant be spun, it goes in one direction only (boost pin slope to the front of the truck)

and the smoke screw (torx bolt) only adjusts fueling when pulling off (no boost)

I remember putting white plastic washer back in on mine as it smoked too much, I heard that you can file it down to half the size then refit, I left it at full size and I'm going to be either doing the above to try and reduce smoke on mine, or swapping for the old standard pin for this saturdays MOT
