Hello all. Me again.

Just after a bit of advice re. by spare bonnet carrier.

Ive got the standard bonnet on my IIa (you know, the flat one like this

)

and the aluminium bonnet carrier. But before I start drilling holes through the bonnet I wouldnt mind knowing exactly where to fit it. Anyone got any measurements or fancy measuring theirs up for me?

Don't ruin that nice bonnet. Get another one off ebay they're cheap as chips, then you can change it back when you realise it's no good.

Get an indented bonnet, so the wheel sits lower on it. Then you have half a chance of seeing over it!

i got two bonnets as the wheel will kill it.

I agree with Hughsey....don't ruin a good one by drilling holes in it....just get a spare bonnet
