M Matt365 New Member Dec 18, 2018 #1 Hello, recently filled up my coolant. When I’ve come to close the bonnet it won’t acknowledge it’s closed, even tho it is. Central locking won’t work because of this fault. Can anyone help? Thanks

Nodge68 Well-Known Member Dec 19, 2018 #7 The bonnet sensor is in the latch assembly. It's not uncommon for the connector to corrode, or the sensor its self to fail.

Mine was the electrical connection had come adrift, so just needed cleaning and pushing back on. I can't imagine it's too difficult to sort yourself, if you're good with your hands.
