Hello thought I better introduce myself before starting to beg for help.

Iā€™m from Essex originally but moved to Normandy a few years ago running a small hole in the wall garage. One of my customers has a couple land rovers one of which, a p38a, has recently gone wonky so Iā€™m in need of a bit of advice since Iā€™m not an expert in these and there are no Landy specialists in the area.

And just out of interest where are you in Normandy?
We have friends who live in Cherbourg that we stay with on our way down to our place in the Tarn.
And our local LR garage down here has recently become a "2nd hand parts" place only. šŸ˜¢ šŸ˜¢ šŸ˜¢

Hello - Coincidentally I came across your post just as I was about to introduce myself and also beg for help........... I'm from London originally but have been in France for the last 15 year and live just south of Avignon.

We are in the Tarn but only ever here for 6 months at a time.

Hello there I live just outside of Mortain not far from the Mayenne. About 2 hours south of cherbourg. Apparently the used to be a LR specialist around here but no one knows what happened to him
