Got hold of a good secondhand throttle body from a friend, smoke tested it yesterday and it passed. Cleaned it up today ready for the new plate and gaskets etc to arrive then I'll swap it over. Will strip the old one and see If I can machine it to accept some kind of seal, just for a spare.

Right, got fed up with the poor rear wiper arm situation. As you can see my rear screen is damaged by the plastic wiper arm twisting and then the body of the wiper blade rubbing on the glass. So I've got a D1 rear wiper arm, bosch blade and a 4 way clip on washer jet. Now this is sorted I can replace the screen and not worry about future damage. Excuse the rusty spare wheel holder, Didn't know it was actually that bad. Will sort that out asap 
Also managed to source a brand new rear light to match the other one. New harness made so plug and play

The scratch on the rear glass doesn't look too bad, or is it a case of your OCD having OCD?

So I've spent the last day and a half detailing the landy. Wash, dry, clay bar, machine polish (removed at least 90% of the scratches/imperfections), sealed the paint with fusso, plastics treated, glass cleaned, interior cleaned, removed the rear GB badge and to finish it off new number plates. Looks amazing and as smooth as glass! Enjoy the photos...

Finished soundproofing/insulating the roof. Its already been sound deadened so I added a layer of this on top.
Looks like you have all your plastic trim back in place - are you running it without headlining, or are you doing some work to that as well?

It's currently in the dining room awaiting re covering. I'm not ready for that yet so popped in the plastics to make it a bit nicer till then.

So I had slight vibration when braking so I've installed new front discs and pads. Febi Bilstein coated discs and Ferodo premium pads. Upon removal I discovered one of my sliders was seized solid! Couldn't move it until I got some heat on it. All stripped cleaned and greased.

Today I changed the rotton rear mudflap brackets. Very messy job :cry: Found out I had limited access with the drill and some of the rivets are made from a very tough steel. Anyway managed to get them both off which revealed some rust. So I cleaned it all up with a wire wheel, used rust treatment and sprayed with wayoyl. On one side there is a small hole from rust which I will cut out and weld in a replacement panel at a later date. Seamed solid atm. For the brackets I used ICE 4x4's variant with a custom V8 logo in the back. All the rivnuts and bolts etc are stainless as are the brackets. Ended up using 4 rivnuts in total 2 in the boot floor and 2 in the side panels.
I have some questions about your rear lights if I may.
Pre-facelifts had the indicators in the bumper. Have you changed those as well and if so do you have orange bulbs in clear lenses? I'm currently building a facelift D2 and would probably be doing the same thing. Did you make the harness yourself or is it something off the shelf?
