Rocking horse **** mate..... I fitted progressive springs on the rear and HD on the front... my BOGE is still there but it doesnt work.
WOW looking further one went on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Landrover-Defender-self-levelling-unit-NRC7050-/130565502674 a while ago... doesnt say if it worked or not though... fyi I researched this a while back and the result was.. if you have one chances are it wont work and you need to upgrade springs.
Did you test yours? Chuck some heavy weight into the back measure height of rear floor from the deck... then drive around a bit 5 mins max.. and then measure it again.. if its working it should be higher than it was as BOGE will have pumped it up.
A few sites like http://www.famousfour.co.uk/lrparts/lr_page.php?partID=397066 offer it 900 QUID !!!!!!!!!! but even they cant get them any more.

The Landy is mainly used for towing and hence I don't want to ruin its characteristics by throwing on HD springs and upsetting the ride quality unless I have too.
I haven't tested it but I'm aware of a thumping noise on rebound of my suspension.
I bought poly upper link bushes and a replacement fulcrum with ball joint, only to realise I have bought the wrong part due to having an SLU fitted. Not knowing what the SLU was at first, I did some investigations on this site/the web, and from what I can gather it is the SLU making the noise and not the bushes/ball joint like I first thought.
Hence why I am trying to get my hands on an SLU to replace mine with.
