and a body lift kit is a waste of time if diff grinds out- fit bigger wheels and ffs:search:

I’m back
I fitted bigger wheels and had to do body lift as the tyres caught on the arches on articulation
Its about a 5hr job to do

1. Yer lift will not improve ground clearance.
2. Others have told you why a lift kit helps.
3. Speak to your insurance bods before you modify your suspension - you may have a shock.

dont know why your asking what do you think of body lifts for...you have already got the kit avnt you?

Got 2" suspension lift just thought about maybe doing a 1"/2" body lift as well.

What size tyres are you planning on running? Unless you are going much bigger than standard, trimming the wheel arches is all that's needed, something called a camel cut, MHM made a very good post about it here,http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f38/discovery-fitting-bigger-wheels-67858.html
This, combined with HD springs which sag less, giving the effect of a lift of around 1"-1.5" lift, may well give you all the clearance you need.

i put a 2" sus lift on the 300 disco i had,it give enough clearance on the off road tyres on steels.
however the 200 disco i have now is alot taller.bought it allready done.the chap who done it said its got 2" lift plus 1" blocks.and all the arches have been cut in[a bit of a job]
big tyres fit well, allthough wont ballance up.bit of wheel wobble small price to pay spose.
