my mates got a disco 300 tdi,but hes been offerd and fell in love with a v8 bobtail rrover,its a d reg 3.5 v8 on carbs,no tax/mot 4" lift 36" simex tyres on mach 5 rims front/rear tubular bumpers very very tidy rrover bloke says hes looking for around £2k trouble is we dunno what bobtail rangys are worth what should we be thinking of offering?

if it's not had a MOT or been taxed since it was tailed be very very wary

it was moted after it was bobbed but has been dry stored for 18 months

Insurance aint a problem there are many companys who specialise is modded landys our range rover pickup bobtail is insured with all mods including disco 200tdi engine and box for £200, it includes off road and greenlane cover etc etc not gonna go into names but there easy to find within the good 4x4 magazines as we all know. As for the price of your vehicle in the thread, the labour required to complete a good tidy conversion i know can soon add up and cost more than what you would pay for a ready made job.
