having recently bought a 2.5 td in a box got it back together but will only start with easy start and wont idle got power to new glow plugs valve and injection timing spot on (got the special tool) any ideas

Easy start will burn your glow plugs up
what is the history of this engine? have you checked compression,do you know it is good? have you got all the bits in the right order,any bits left over?
What special tool do you have?

Do not use easy start, it has to be the worst things ever invented for engines, using it once can damage the engine.
