I have the HK stereo with Multi changer in the RR, but want to add bluetooth capability for hands free to the stereo.

Has anyone got any experience of retrofitting a parrot type system to the standard stereo, or am I better considering replacing the stereo with one which already has the bluetooth capability installed? If the latter, has anyone found an alternative which works with multichanger as is, and the HK system and its amplifiers ?

just fitted a parrott to my friends company car (2010 isnsignia), they are pretty good and will work with most stereo's cant see yours been any different. the parrott model he had was a ck3100.

if your stereo has ISO connectors, its straight forward, if it doesnt have ISO's then a wiring kit will be needed, but they are only about £10-£20.

the hardest part is stripping out the dash / radio and running the wires

I've been doing a bit more reading up, so will see what connectors I have and do a write up on fitting one. shortly, hopefully this weekend.
