It's leaking from the area shown, I've read my oh so descriptive Haynes manual that's absolutely no use so I thought I'd try the experts and their 500 sarcastic mates:D

So how do I get it apart and rebuild it?

Cheers.....

On a serious note undo the clamp and get a new gasket or exhaust putty as already said, push on as much as it will go and tighten clamp back up and jobs a goodun.

If you use putty, start it up but don't rev it. Get the exhaust hot!! And then turn it off and leave for an hour before use or the putty won't go off.

Excellent, thanks very much I'll give it a go tomorrow.

No sarcasm in sight

use a trolley jack to gently push the pipe up,put some padding on it.

then do it up ,i dont use the side engine clamp but have fitted an extra clamp at the turbo end and polybush hangered the first hanger by the centre xmember, seems quite strong without the hassle of the side bracket on the engine.

oops, pic attached

It's blowing from where the short pipe sticks out from the bottom of the alloy casing not from the joint with the downpipe itself. I guess I'll just go for the old 'stick loads of exhaust paste round it' routine and hope for the best
