I could have sworn my 2000 Freelander was gold , however the paint code is 642 on the passenger door pillar. Paint code 642 is Blenheim Silver but interestingly the Registration doc describes the car as Gold.

So, I'm not quite sure what my question is.....has anyone else noticed this discrepancy between the paint code and the registration doc? or maybe does Blenheim silver really look a bit gold. Anyone got one the same colour?

On my registration docs, it says Gold, but my real colour if I want to touch up any areas is 'Atacama Sand'.
I don't think my FL looks anything like a gold colour.

Mines Blenheim silver too. It (to me) is silver but others have said it looks gold. It does have a slight yellow in some lights though.

Hi, thanks for the update, that's reassuring. I'm going to go ahead and order Blenheim silver, I need to spray a patch on the rear sill where an old weld was just covered with black underseal. Interestingly her indoors reckons its silver, I should have listened to her I guess.

My Open Air is Blenheim Silver which has is slightly more champagne than the Facelift (see avatar).

Thanks for all the posts, I've ordered Blenheim silver now, got to do a bit of a respray job on the sill ( when it stops raining some time next year). I've finally got a decent picture too in between showers.
