Hi,

Recently had my 90 200tdi in a garage for an MOT and they replaced one bleed off pipe and nipped up (apparently) all the injection pipes to stop a small leak on no 1 cylinder. Now it takes a while to start, I'm assuming there is air in the system. I have taken off the the fuel filter and pumped out all the air, starts well. Leave it for a few hours, same problem. I do not have any visible leaks. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure either:)
Butt....they have little one way valves in them so the fuel doesn't run back, if they fail then the system has to purge the air before it will start.

ah ok, interesting, I'll fill it leave it and try it again to see if that happens and I'll block the output.

You could also check or replace the sealing washers on the filter bleed screw and banjo bolts.
