I've changed my mind, sad to say that since the last off-road outing
in the pinz, where it was stupendous, I've lost all interest in the
110. As long as someone will pay me they can do what they want with
it! I've hardly even looked at it in weeks, it's got cobwebs on the
wheels and between the chassis and ground.

I still reckon I'd rather have a series 1 80" than a haflinger though,
although the haflinger would actually be practical for many of the
trips I do, returning 35 MPG or so and doing 45 MPH. On these roads
that's just fine. The series 1 though is just too cute to dismiss.
The halflinger is cheaper and better off-road (according to those who
have both) but I've never driven one so haven't yet fallen in love!

Ditto, hence selling the 110 ;-)

remind the of the spec... I'd still rather like to have the 110 V8 auto that
I assembled a bit back for this project, but a good TDi makes more sense,
really.

Here's the blurb from the web site;

http://www.4x4web.co.uk/4sale_LR.html

164,141 miles, Nov 2006 MOT. It's had a few upgrades and important
parts replaced, including a recon gearbox, transfer box and a Jeremy
Fearns intercooler. The driver and passenger doors are functional but
need replacing, passenger window no longer winds down. Workshop
manuals, tow bar and electrics (not fitted), box of random spare
parts, 2x spare tyres. Recon gearbox and transfer box. Fearns
intercooler upgrade. Rebuilt steering. Rebuilt front brakes. Cam belt
change less than 2,000 miles ago. 24,000 mile service less than 2,000
miles ago. Lots of work done to keep it in good mechanical
shape. Engine in particularly fine fettle, very sweet, uses no oil at
all between services. Immobiliser. Strong, lockable cubby box. Taxed
until Sep 2006. Has a few dents and scrapes, largest on left
wing. Please contact me for viewing, questions or more pics. Price
5,000 ono.

hmmm. I doubt I can raise that much, not this year anyway, although it'd eb
a good vehicle to use for the purpose, mechanically sound but non-perfect
body.
