After I had email off someone I didn't even know demanding the drawings dxf files etc and telling me I was selfish if I didn't hand them over I said f u I'll start making them again , and think of your own thing to make!
You should have sent him some duff ones for a Trabant or something. Just imagine when he tried to fit it to his Landy :)

Sold it and my guillotine to a pal as new shop is too small for them and couldnt afford to hire a crane and artic to move them:( but still use them

The chap who wanted dimensions wasnt to make one for himself he wanted to make and sell them and a hydro steer ram I have designed:rolleyes:

I did notice after you said you were quitting there was a samesiah appearnce wise rear xmember appear on ebay, maybe the same guy, was up north somewhere?

Saw that , not very good open channel in 3mm is to weak
 
My 1985 90 NA will need a new crossmember (at least) before it's next MOT in November. Is there such a thing as a standard price or is the job so variable according to the condition of the vehicle?

I do like to get things done properly and I've read nothing but praise for Pressbrakes work on this forum.

Being a bit of a novice in these matters I'm not sure how to assess whether the chassis is worth a quality repair or indeed whether the engine would survive a trip to Essex from West Sussex.

Engine will be fine, if it blows up then you can fit a tdi:D

Ordered mine last week, can't wait for it to arrive so I can get it fitted:cool::cool::cool: A big +1 for Clive being a great bloke to deal with, even when dealing with a clown that forgot to mention they had a tow bar fitted:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Just picked up the Fender from the Welderizer, so this is my shiny noooooo crossmember:cool::cool::cool:
Booked in for M.O.T. Monday morning, they ain't going to find any faults with my Crossmember anymore:p:p

hi clive, i'm pretty sure you no longer make them, but the front bumper I had from you is awesome. I just used my land rover to knock down 125 feet brick wall between mine and next doors garden. I scratched the paint, but the bumper is awesome and undamaged.

I have seen on an old thread a rear crossmember for a 90 with a welded in rear winch tray you made, do you still do these and what would a rough price be, supply only.

Thank you for your pm, just to make sure we are talking about the same thing hopefully please see pictures of a rear crossmember with winch tray you posted a while ago on another thread, this is what I'm thinking about for mine but without the NAS step. Please see the other 2 pictures of my crossmember, would it be possible to have rear crossmember with winch tray and keep my tow bar ?

Also when you say crossmember kit what do you actually mean ?
