Evening Folks ,

My elderly neighbour was away for 2 months visiting family , came back and washed his D2, now with it parked in his front garden with about 10 bloody trees surrounding it he’s noticed little black spots on his bonnet. They do come off with some elbow grease but was wondering what could he use to remove the speckles quicker & without damaging the paintwork. Image attached not sure if it’s the greatest.

Also his roof is a complete mess and left black steins most probably with leaves and buds falling on it and laying there. What can be used for that as well ?

IPA is good but it needs to be diluted, commonly at a1:1 ratio with distilled water. Make sure the metal is cold and avoid direct sunlight during application. Also, most of the clear top coating would have been dissolved so follow up with a protective wax coating.

A decent car polish will remove the black spots. I used Mer on my old disco when it had the same. It takes some elbow grease too though.
