Wow ! Arrived today well packed and Bl***y heavy.

Opened it to find a made and strong cross member. When i spoke to Clive he said he's stopping making them :eek:
This is such a shame as it a fantastic item at a good price.
 
I brought one for my old chassis... never used it but still want to keep it incase I ever need it... plus it's a work of art

Mine arrived today as well. I don't think he's stopped making them. But he's lost his workshop & has to make them at home.

I have to say they are an awesome piece of kit.. and well worth the money.
 
Not kidding he told me he was stopping making them after last week. I did not ask why such a shame if he stops production, but why would he lie.
Pikey what are the two drilled c shaped things for ?

4 sides 2 for each leg
2 tops
2 bottoms
2 strips for strengtheners
2 pieces of Box section to go between the sides where the lashing eyes or jate rings, bolt on. They're to prevent distortion thru overtightening.
 
cheers, must be slightly different from yours, i do not have any strips and the box section is folded 6mm steel nice steel work.

Really Sorry to hear that Because your work is ####ing awesome.. Good luck with the whatever you decide to do in the future and hope your health improves.

That sir, is a damn shame, I sympathise with a decent chap for the knives etc, and I'm sorry to hear about your health.

Tho I was thrilled when you secured new premises, one must do what is best for ones self.

Forget the price just buy one they really are very very good.
Unlike all the others out there you will never have to replace it ever again.
