my p38 4.6 hse got a problem when i put my foot on the brakes sometimes the abs light warning light and tracton light comes on but nothing on my display anyone any ideas on this one checked the fuild all is fine there and the brakes are spot on ?

Think I will buck the trend of this thread and add some advice..
My first thoughts are the accumulator failing. This holds a reserve of pressure ready for the traction control to use to apply the brakes when needed. If the pressure is dropping when you are braking normaly, this will kick up the warning you are getting. This is a relativly easy job to do, just make sure you de-pressurise the system first. Check the Rave CD on how to do this.

Other things that cause this is a wheel sensor problem eather wiring bad joint on an earth or connector or wheel sensor needing a little adjustment
