I think if you want a 300 tdi rather than a td5 for instance, you would pay good money for a well kept late tdi, obviously a well specced one. I bought a p reg 6 cylinder xjr for more than the prie of a v8 on a later plate because they are more reliable and easier to work on.
Obviously condition is a major factor.

Went to see the disco this moning, Tidy enuff motor but couldnt get near the £1900 asking price, it'll need 4 new tyres fairly soon (fronts just legal) f/o/s swivel seal needs replacing and floppy gear stick apart from that half decent

what can i say nathan? when i spoke to him last night his wasn't after any where near that, can only presume that someone told him its worth loads that mate. told me he will put it on fleabay, who knows maybe he will get more but i doubt it personally. Lee

No worries, i offered £1200 was prep to go a bit higher but not near the £1900, good luck to ya dad i hope he gets what hes after

oi lee.take a weeks holiday and come and strip it for parts then save what you can fit to yours and scrap the rest.good injun that.

don't have to take weeks holiday, stopped working for money in October, but have unfortunately run out of time and don't have anywhere to do it. really is a sjhame because its in good nick, wanted to put all the running gear into mine, but now no time. Lee
