Filled it up with bio' today, bout 75% mix, see how it goes. Think my car has the inline fuel filter, anybody know where this is hiding on the TD4 2003 model, not where my Haynes manual says it should be, but that book only covers models up to 2002

anyone see what biodiesel did to that 320D BMW on topgear on Sunday? I know it was on a 24hr race but the high ethanol content caused major problems with pump and associated seals.

Assume commercial bio/diesel is more tightly controlled.

I think the Etanol was added to the Biodiesel for the cars preformance. If Biodiesel is washed right all of the Methanol should be removed, It is the Methanol that holds suspended soaps and kills rubber including seals.

not sure if I should or shouldn't but if anyone is interested I'm hoping to be 'supplying' bio diesel in B'ham area within the next 2 - 3 months.
