Question for you guys.

A petrol station i passed in Liverpool yesterday was selling Bio Diesel for 79p per litre, never seen it before.
Is this acceptable to put into a TD4 as a long term alternative to standard Diesel ?

bio diesel,is spose to be of the same standard as fossile diesel. . . .put it in and go , but i myself would still mix it, you can easly make bio out of asda's cheapest at bout 60p /litre. . . .thats what i do now no mess in large bottles takes bout 2 days ta fine out . . . . .:)

I have used Bio-diesel in my freelander since I bought it 4 months ago. At first I used 100% bio, but now use 50% and it runs as sweet as can be. I still have the problem of power loss at 72 mph, but I don't think that has anything to do with the bio diesel.

i recently fixed the power loss prob on my freelander td 4 by replaceing the vac hose to the turbo it had no holes in it ,it was so worn it was kinking or sucking flat only takes 10 mins to fit and a cheep place to start

iand1967, Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply, I will certainly try your suggestion. Best wishes.
Old Shoey.
