Looks good, will prolly have to get the sparky stick out on my D2 at some point ;)

Thread is inspiration ;)

Your on a fresh pot of red hahaha

I wonder if they realize us lot are responsible for the increase in sales. I had to do both of mine there too. Fender has a similar setup although I’ve got a totally new cross member to go in so will chop it out completely there, patch rails then install ontop. I’m working today but just about to finish up and head to the farm with my dog, toolbox, radio and gun:)

Well that was interesting .....

Thought I’d squirt some dinitrol cavity wax in the round crossmember before welding the turret on.....

Almost finished welding the large piece on when ....... FLASH BANG!!!!

Seems dinitrol has a flashpoint !!!!

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Scared the Bejesus or of me.

I only get a weekend day on mine, could be the end half of Saturday or most of Sunday, but even then it's weather family schedule permitting.

I would love to take a week off and smash the granny out of it, but alas, the bills come first :(

Good to see you getting yours pinned down now.

Gives me inspiration to keep plugging away at mine :)

I only got another 2 weeks, depending on weather, and then I’m working for a month or so. ☹️

Hopefully I can get n/s front wing fitted and then get rest of n/s stuff put back on.

I can then jack up o/s and if chassis is sound, crack on with box section and rear wheel arch area.........

Well........that’s the plan !!!

Yes they are bearmach. Though It seems to be a bit higher with it fitted...... mind you I haven’t had anything on there for a few months.

........ got loads to do yet :(

Well, bugger all nothing done today.

Actually, that’s not true.

Was going to fit stub axle etc etc.

Cleaned out stub and brake calliper bolt holes.
Found all the parts that were secreted around the garage.........
Bolts that I thought were the stub bolts were the wrong pitch !!!!

Had a ‘wet knickers’ moment thinking I’d used wrong tap to clean holes.......thought about it and concluded the tap went through too easily to be wrong one..........rummaged around the used bolts tin and found original bolts to try for size ......perfect fit.

So, packed everything up, having a cuppa, and off up the road to sell some more of my soul in the Bearmach play pen ready for Monday.

I am just home from another crappy day at work and feel as though I would rather douse myself in petrol and set fire to myself than go out and attack that thing outside the kitchen window.

Tomorrow perhaps.
