Wow.

Mentioned a company I was dealing with in a post and the next day I get an email from them offering some advice. Apparently they get notified whenever their company is mentioned anywhere on the net.

The software to do that is cheap and ubiquitous - most medium/big companies do it - my university does.

Don't ever think you're anonymous on the internet - it takes some skill (beyond most of us!) to do that

Google do targetted advertising been around for years. just look at the ads on this thread,


As for been anonymouse.. Laptop paid cash, PAYG T mobile dongle topped up every 3 months using cash. Hotmail email addy. tis **** easy to be anonymouse on the net..

I'll stick to looking in ponds when I wanna see me reflection cheers. but to be honest. I'm so good looking it scares the bejeezus outta me..
