Hi Guys, I need to fit some tyres to my Disco 2 which will allow me to cross a rather muddy field so I can get to my paintball site during the winter months... and spring... and autumn months for that matter... anyway in the past I've had a couple of disco 1's and a freelander 1 with various road and semi-off road tyres but if its quite muddy they stand no chance, so I've been looking at Mud-Terrains as hopefully being the solution.

I've been looking at the fitting guide on here and see that mods are required to pretty much any size bigger than the stock 235 size but that chart is for Disco 1's does anyone have any idea what the biggest size MT's are that I can fit without having to cut arches or fit a lift kit? I dont mind cutting the bumpers but cutting the arches seems a bit drastic.

I work for a large tyre company and above 235 you would struggle on 16inch. Next would be 245 70 16 or 265's or 275 would be to big on standard suspension

Thanks for the reply shaun, been searching about on here but most of the stuff I've seen refers to Disco 1's didnt know if the Disco 2 would take a larger tyre with less mods, but yeah, I'm starting to get the feeling that 235's are going to be as big as I can go really.
