I stuck NAS spec lights on mine 14 yrs ago and have never had an issue since. Even the bulbs are original to them

I have found the Wipac Led tail and indicators to be excellent, much brighter and completely waterproof. I've also fitted a set of crystal headlamps- a pretty cheap upgrade, together with a decent set of H4 bulbs.

Distance/time equals speed,

Which means at the speed a fender will go you do t need fancy lights cause you can see as far as your breaking distance at maximum velocity.

Mine got treated to a full set of elcheapo britpart ones, no expense spared for me!
Keep it std, keep it cheap, dont draw attention to the car, maybe get to keep the car:D

Thanks for replies, I'm probably going to keep it cheap on these, has anyone got any links to where I can buy the cheaper best quality ones online?

I agree with this, at £3 a piece from paddocks that is what I have fitted. Not really had any problems with them. The only issue is the the same with all the lights where the lens sticks to the rubber seal making it very difficult to remove to change the bulb. A smear of vasalene on refitting prevents this.

I'm going to buy the rdx nas led's 180 quid and still need headlights but they're better look crisp and probably never have to worry about changing or them blowing. Got some 7" led headlights already which are million times better than halogens imo. See alot better at night white crisp light shows further too. Obviously bit more expense but hopefully last as long as motor.

Are they water /mud proof? if not then it could become an expensive exercise.

Cheers

Yes if you search on ebay the set comes up, even has the proper relay for led lights. Good price at 180 imo. Never searched how much replacement normal fittings cost but I'd say for how much better they are and not having to worry about bulbs worth it. The clear ones look really good too

I got these from Kelmarsh...really pleased with them and they are much brighter and totally sealed (so shouldn't fill up with water if wading) Flatdog was the supplier I think?

159? The one I'm watching is 180 can you link me? Is it the proper relay? One of the cheaper ones makes your trailer light flash with the indicators so I've been told

I have a week off next week, itching to get some done on fender but I'm under orders I have to finish the house first D: just had to change ujs on disco too. I might get time to sleep at some point...
