After finding my 99 disco 2 right side air suspension has sprung a leak in its airbag, I've been quoted £250 by my local garage for replacement parts, their dealer prices.
Now I know the definitive air suspension guide states you can get them for around £90 each, but where from?

Is it better getting new over used? Also is it an absolute must to replace both, what problems could replacing just one cause?

Thanks for listening to a noob:rolleyes:

Yes do both, if you dont then the other will soon fail.. I tried to get away with it but the other bag went 2 months later. Island 4x4 sell the Dunlops for £55 + VAT each.

The Island price is about the best price I've seen when I did a hunt around on the net recently - without getting into used parts. It is recommended that both are replaced at the same time, just like tyres, well they are both rubber bags of air... if you really want used tell me and I'll point you to a LR breaker I was at this week and saw bags at. Also replace soon as you can before bag (might) goes bang or you over work the compressor, that will be pricey to sort.

Island 4x4 is definitively the cheapest you will find. I have been searching web for sometime to replace mine.
