The cheapest I can currently find 10w40 mineral oil is £14.39 (inc VAT) for 5L in Macro. Does anybody know any cheaper sources?

I'm happy to buy around £100 worth to get a good deal.

Wilkinsons do 15w40 mineral for £10.86 for 5 litres meets all specs for my 300tdi atleast.

not quite what your after, but i buy 25l of 10/40 semi-synthetic of fleabay for £59.99 inc p&p. thats £12 per 5l. made by q8.
it goes in all my bikes and cars, petrol and deisel.

Costco sell Chevron 10W-40 semi-synthetic for £36 plus VAT, 20 litre drums, they also do plain petrol engine oil. We have used the diesel oil in our V8 since the rebuild, 40k miles, no problems.

Morris Lubricants also do a good deal with direct shipping.

Phone your local Renault dealer service dept and ask for Motrio 15w/40 20ltr. Its A2/B2 so basic spec but good enough for a tdi.Should be less than £30.00 inc vat. They do 10w/40 semi synthetic for £37.50 and thats A3/B3 B4 Also do bigger size drums if you want to save more.

I should have said before, its for a V8 not a TD5, so the 15w is out of spec, its need to be a 5w or a 10w.
