Tuff one, my opinion only of course:
Slab common, Sand is a nice change, nice mixture of terrain and obstacles, nice people

Boxgrove Common, Sands nice again and like Slab, one of them has lots of tanks about, that’s the better of the 2 sites, open areas or in the trees - standard of challenger you should have fun. pretty tough site.

Aldermaston, got some nice tight places, nice bit of mud but a little small. Good layout that can take standard to extreme. Some routes only allow fully caged offroader can go, some I think could just be advanced routes but seen many a tipped off roader there.

Core 4x4, small site, terrain for all off roaders more clay and mud then anything, but a nice afternoon or morning, more fun if you have a derv rather then v8 as there’s a nice bit of water I would love to go into!

John Morgan, nice big site, best to go round in pairs as you just end up sitting in places stuck. Big tyres tracks, most normal high landys would bottom out on most runs, I went when it was baking hot with standard suspension and 20 year old tyres but was a great day.

Muddy bottom, just like what it says, if you don’t have mud tyre its half as fun as my bfg at's just sat spinning half the time. Not as big as you would of thought but still take all day to do everything properly. Nice friendly people. This has to be the most hardocre mud one i have been too.

Brick Kiln Farm, nice site, bits for everyone, it’s only a 10er but there is no type of insurance coverage and your on your own. Herd a couple of stories of off roaders getting stuck there, cant be pulled out, go for help or come back later/ the next day and there offroader is stripped. Don’t get in the way of a biker - as far as they are concerned they can’t do a thing wrong and everything is the 4x4's fault.

google them for links.

If you havent found this site yet - it lists all the pay and plays in the uk on a map

its more to see what people thought. a few years ago we went to one called hill an ditch an that's exactly wot it was  thay should have called it 1-hill 1-ditch coz that's all that was there. it was the worst off road site av ever seen we payed £25 an ended up leaving after 1 hour it wasn't worth getting the tyres muddy :( ended the hole day

Where else in NW have you tried, and liked?

no we are going on sunday wots it like mate wots the biggest tyres your allowed on there as am runnin 35" as some places thats there limit thanks mate

There are no limits, you'll struggle even with 35s. Do you have a winch? If not, then try to follow someone who does. Its the best one I've been to so far, but if you or anyone else knows a better one....
