Decided to have electrical problems, turns out that the wires behind the fuse box where lose and there was no power going across some of the fuses at all, so it was recommend that i swap the fuse box which i started to day.

The right hand one was no problem, i had to get some bigger spade connectors for the thicker wire but it was no big deal.

However on the other one this green wire is best described as withered the plastic looks nasty and the wire is poking out the side.

Tis time for this to be replaced, but the question is what does it do and where does it go is the rest of it withered? (not that I expect any one on here to know that last one.)

Was thinking if i just cut it back to the dash and then link it to a new wire and run that to the fuse box. But was wondering how easy they are to get to I had a look in the engine bay on the other side but could not see them come out.

I am thinking at this stage to go the laze way and just replace the bit i can see?

Plain Green with no trace colours go from your column switches to:

a/. stop light switch
b/. reversing light switch
c/. hazard warning switch
d/. provides feeds for your gauges

Have fun! ;)
