What size?
What sort of driving do you do?
Tomket are really rubbish, so I'm not surprised they're all done at 10k miles.

Spend more on a decent make like Michelin, and they'll last longer. ;)

Just changed mine after 4 years and 50000 miles of road driving for same as before goodyear wrangler m+s 235/65R17 from national tyres £418 for 4 tyres fitted.

Its all road work i went for pirelli scorpion in the end yes a lad set up on his own and was fitting tomket he told me they were a good hard wearing tyre needless to say i wont be going back there i wouldnt of minded if he told me they were a cheap budget tyre

Scorpions are good all round tyres, depending on what variant you went for, I had good results with ATRs on my D3, and STRs on our VW Tiguan.
They lasted well too, giving about 20-25k miles to 4mm, which is the point I change tyres.

as Roy says above i run good year wrangler duratrac on my discovery and there brilliant. you do get a little bit of road noise around 40mph on certain surfaces but its got me out of some very sticky situations in the past. they really grip
