Which is the best diagnostic code reader and live data reader for a freelander 2 sd4, early 2011.
I have a nanocom evolution unlocked for a discovery td5 ( and will shortly selling said vehicle) and wonder whether it is worth the £200 + for the cable and unlock codes for the freelander 2 or are there better diagnostic machines available given that i would sell nanocom to defray cost.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Gap Diagnostics IID BT is about the best and most convenient code reader/ programmer available for newer LR models.

As Nodge says the Gap IIB BT is brilliant, and they are really helpful, needed to disconnect the power folding mirrors on my F2 couldnt figure it out and they walked me through it. Saved the price of it already as the nearest dealer to me is 800 kilometers away. Just done a service on the car. No problem resetting service notification. Fitted a towbar, uprated car to know it has towbar.
