I seem to remember reading the b+b connections arnt the best and leak around the slave. It's a job you only want to do once.

Fck Borg and Beck. Fck them in the eyes.

I fully expect aftermarket parts to be of slightly inferior quality compared to original branded parts, but I also expect them to DO THE MOTHERFKING JOB THEY ARE DESIGNED TO DO. That includes fitting properly and not leaking - which it seems is a little beyond Borg and Becks quality control department. Im not the only one with the same problem either.

So that's a "No" to Borg and Beck then?

I recently did a clutch on my TD4, fitted LuK dual mass flywheel, clutch and concentric release bearing. Had no problems and works like a charm. LuK is what is fitted to the TD4 by the manufacturer, so that's what I went with.

I've also fitted LuK to more TD4 freelanders at work with no issues over the last few years with no issues as well, so definitely recommend them.

Agreed use anything other than B&b, The ones I have had recently had been produced years ago and had absorbed moisture rendering them useless. Whilst the system can be bled it's really designed to not be and a good kit should not need it. Get both parts master and slave :)
