Hey,

I need a set of 4 all weather 18" tyres. Any idea on the best/cheapest ones.

Cheers

Don't go cheap if you're keeping the vehicle, it's your life at the end of the day.
Black circle have a good website, you can compare the different makes and read reviews.
They come to your home or work.

That's low for 18's, so I couldn't say.
I've used Nexen and Khumo on the Jeep that's got 18" wheels, but they're about £125 per corner Inc fitting.
I've currently got Zeta's on the Freelander which are very good for the price, but that's 16".

I've just noticed your in Sheffield, just down the road. I always go to AP tyres in Rawmarsh Rotherham, used them for over 20 years, very competitive and never give bad advice. They do look like they'll nick your car, but they're good blokes.
Give them a ring, the advice is free and they beat most website for prices. They usually quote inclusive of fitting.

I've just taken delivery of 4 new Copper CS4 in 235/55/18. I paid £60 per corner, which I consider a good price.
They are all weather rated, but hard to come by now as they have been discontinued. I chose these because I've had good experiences with Cooper tyres in the past, reviews were good and they were cheap.

There look just what im after. I take the 55's will fit on the Freelander. There doesn't seem much room from the tyre to the suspension spring.

Any idea where you can get them from.

Cheers

Not fitted them yet, but the standard 50% fits with a fair amount of room, that's why I went for 55%.

I ordered 4 from Tyre leader, but Parcel Force lost 2 of them.
I got a partial refund from Tyre leader and found another 2 on eBay.

Cheers mate. I was looking at some deestone expedite tyres. Dont know much about them but they look ok.
Made in Thailand, don't know if that's good or bad.
Did you try the black circle site yet ?
You just type in size and it lists all the brands they sell with info on applications and road noise etc but more interestingly reviews from customers.

Got my last lot from BlackCircles - Went for their "quality choice", ended up paying about £280 in total. that was for 17's though.

Although I bet no one could beat the deal I got from crap fit a few years ago.
I needed two tyres but they told me uniroyals were on special if I bought four.
They also had an offer where I paid nothing upfront but they take your card details and in two months give you the choice to clear the bill or pay monthly
Needless to say I never heard a word so four tyres for nada lol.

17's are a good deal cheaper than 18's. And the choice of 18" tyres is much more restricted too.
