If you out on a weekend laning trip, or camping trip,

What do you recon is your best purchase? What can't you go without?

Obviously the main one being a kettle!
 
colman stove, jrc bivvy tent, proper bed, ex army sleeping bag, tarp for shelter, and chair, then lots of beer
 
Deasy get a kelly kettle. beat the pants of a jetboil.

me best bit of gear is me TFG force8 bivvy & me ex army artic issue sleeping bag. though Now I got the 110 don't really need the bivvy.

Pat mentioned these a few weeks ago. Meant to be a good bit of kit.

Snatch blocks are an under-rated, essential bit of kit, in my opinion.
I found a lot of people don't or never used to carry them in the past.

never knowen my snatch block get as much use as it did up yorks lol:D
 
Got snatch blocks, and pikey, Patrick has just got a Kelly kettle for Xmas, so will be using that :D

Lol beer is a prety good essential!


Also just bought some waffle boards which I get of ebizzle fer £32!

I've got 2 sets Had em for nigh on 5 years Never used em once.. :rolleyes: Must remember to fit em in the 110. next time I come out. :eek:
 
Have to agree on the wafle board front ... Borrowed one once to get me out the **** .... Loved em ... Bought the best I could afford .. Ain't used them once since ...! ... Lol still wouldn't leave home without em ... Jet boil is on my list .. Plus a good camping bed suitable for a 6"5 twenty stone bloke .. Go out doors apear to have some well made fishing beds along the fat boy line ...

Yeah they've started selling TFG fishing gear. was thinking of getting their fleece lined 5season bag to replace the Army bag I've got.

Ere Deasy would have thought this was an essential for you. Fill it right up and ya could have a whole weekend of uninterupted laning..

Jetboil - by a country mile the best xmas prezzie i got last year.

Oh and it cooks water much faster than a kelly kettle ;) but dont tell pikey. :D
