is is best to just use a brush plse

I tend to spray it at very low pressure with a really cheap (£7!) spraygun off banggood (!!) .... but brushing works too - it just uses more Fertan - Keep coating the area until all the tin worms are deaded ;)

Make sure you follow the destructions - Fertan needs water to work - Oh, the irony :D

many thks, funny enough I’ve been looking on ebay for an empty spray bottle, but wasn’t sure which type, ie if it needs to be chemical or solvent resistant etc , still haven’t found one

There was me going to spray it on neat , lol , so is it better then to dilute it with water inside a spray bottle plse

thks so much and as always extremely grateful for the help, also see it comes with a 40x page book

Fertan is water based, so a hand sprayer from the garden centre should cope, it was just that BG had the offer on ..... so I went that way .... need to clean the gun after each use though, because Fertan goes too thick to spray if you leave it ... So I reckon the air option is probably easier.... - have a nosy on bang good dot com ;) - but hang on to your wallet - cos there's all sorts of temptation on there :D  o_O

That spray gun will be fine for Fertan - if a little over sized - before I got the little BG gun, I used a similar gun to yours, but without the paint holder - just fill the gun body, and off I went.... You'll be amazed how little you use when spraying it .... Aim for a really fine mist at really low pressure - I.E. a few psi....

Also, not sure if Fertan would stain the plastic paint doohicky ?

perfect , many thks

also see u can get the mini HVLP spray guns for around £12-14 which might also be ideal , seeing I’ve got a few projects lined up where I’ll need a small spray gun

pressure wise , assume u can pour it in neat and around 30 Psi

thks so much for this and very grateful to u

Neat is good :)

30 psi is  - seriously   , try more like 3 - really - Fertan seems to become a vapour at VERY low pressures - IME, you'll use lots, and waste most of it ... ( ask me how I know !! ) .... start as low as possible .... though .... all things considered, it doesn't taste too bad    o_O o_O   .....
