i bent my front springs at the weekend and im wondering if any one can give me a good cheap alternative to the britpart ones iv bent driving softly softly so as not to break anything at a p&p site, used off road twice and bent (its a bloody land rover it was designed to go OFF road britpart, your parabolic springs are clearly not fit for purpose!).

Try GB Springs - excellent value for money, but if you want more then Rocky Mountain... or top of the range would be Heystee

i no there not parabolics but i found famous four sell the old 11 leaf 1s for about £40 a sprng and they only charged us 6/7£ for 2 springs
ben

There has got to be laws against selling those ****part parabolics buy standard put them on there great.check my 88 with new standard springs

i removed one of the springs today they are 18 months old and the rear bush has GONE worn allmost completely away just leaving metal insert rattling around in there, i think i will just put som std ones on but 9 leaves i dont need heavy duty ones, just gotta keep them clean and lubed for a little ride comfort eh!

I put a set of GB springs parabolics on mine about 8/9 years ago and they are still going strong, they haven't bent and it still sits straight.(and has had years of serious abuse offroad) If you want paras gb springs are a very good buy.

P.s you won't do this with STD springs :D

you need to know where your receipt is for that it was about 18 months ago so im not sure they would honor it any way
