Any tips on bending leaf springs ?
I don't have access to oxy gear just a Blow torch
I need to bend the end of one leaf a few degrees as picture

What's that off? Not sure how you'd bend it without losing the spring

It's off an old 6x4 trailer
Need to cut to length and bend the end to fit in slipper
Only using one leaf (not carrying weight)

They are spring steel by name and nature. If you heat it up and do not temper it back correctly it will snap or bend right over,

Never thought of the press, got a 20 ton one

It's either that or use the whole spring (which is far too long) and hide the end under chassis further back

You can do a lot with a leaf spring before it looses all its flexibility, and for light loads you won’t do enough damage that it breaks or bends
