belt tensioner bolt snaped when driveing along fuked got to find out what made it snap?

bolts do sometimes snap for no reason. a mate of mine had his brake caliper bolts sheer off the other day on his motorbike, no reason for it at all

What engine? Is it a 300TDI?
If so I assume you mean the stud through the middle. Mine sheared off back in August. I wondered if it was because I had done the penny trick to stop the belt squeaking.
