One of my bell housing studs only wants to go in at an angle. I think I need to retap it, is it going to be an issue leaving this one stud off or shall I get it retaped?
Fast reply lol. You should sell your services. Thanks for a nudge in telling me to get my injectors checked. Turns out all 4 had messed up spray patterns. All been serviced with new bottoms on them

i do sell my services in the daytime melted pistons like that is a sign of poor injectors , ive seen a few rebuilt engines need redoing a week after because of
of sorts , i used to run the engineering shop in a lr reconditioners ,we built new plus recon for mod and lr plus others , i do similar but on a very small scale on my own now
Ok I'm a tad confused about torquing up the head bolts, I got the diagram that says waft order to do then I'm but in the torque setting it just says 90 pound, aren't they supposed to go up in steps?
you could do 30,60 then 90 but its not vital with a cast iron head though you must do it twice as center bolts loosen as gasket gets crushed by bolts , ali heads and stretch bolts are a different matter
