Just thought I'd ease my way into your forum. Got a TD5 Disco, had it about 3 years. Looking a bit trashed and going to need some work real soon.

I'm hoping that you fine fellows may guide me along the muddy path of righteousness and through the troubled waters of why don't this effin thing run proper.

It amazes me that they spelt Discovery correctly when they built them....so dont be surprised at all the rest of the problems that arise...:welcome2:

need thick skin

No problems there. I've been called thick and can skin things.

a good sense of humour

The wife is always laughing .... at ........me:doh:

It has already done some unfunny things to me, like throw the oil chain going uphill with a very large trailer on :(

IN SPAIN

Fook me yours goes up hills!! I want my money back..i normally have to reverse up the bastids!

Well it nearly did.

Denmark would have been a better bet. I reckon it'll make it over a crate of Tuborg.

Are you on Jutland ?

Went to Roskilde music festival once about 20 years ago but always ended up back on the mainland where work was plentiful.

back on mainland?? Sjaelland may be an island but its 80 miles across...and its where copenhagen is and 3 fifths of the population...my goodness me!!

Sat at work too when I should be running around playing with the aircon. Just one more coffee and I'll think about getting back to it.

But here is something to for your amusement

Three engineering students were gathered together discussing who must have designed the human body.

One said, "It was a mechanical engineer. Just look at all the joints."

Another said, "No, it was an electrical engineer. The nervous system has many thousands of electrical connections."

The last one said, "No, actually it had to have been a civil engineer. Who else would run a toxic waste pipeline through a recreational area?"

Ah............such thoughts bring about a sense of living and a sense of fear as a smack round the chops, if not from the lady then er indoors, would mean a lot of Tuborg would be consumed both before and after.

Hi and welcome to the LoonyZone from a fellow East Yorkshireman.

Hello Redhand your welcome is most welcome as you are of the east riding.

I can't see why you'd want to leave

Then good luck:rolleyes:

I thought I'd left Hull 4 years ago but I end up back there most weekends, will I ever be FREE !!!!!
