I'm in the market for 2 new batterys for the 90 as i am upgrading to a split charge system, What do you recomend as optimax look good but the price is scary, so what do you all use or prefer?

Whatever you do decide to fit to your 90 can you put details on here as i fancy a split charge in my 90 to run the winch off

Cheers

i prefer to have my batteries connected with 50mm2 cable with a battery isolator between the 2, that way you have the power of both batteries when winching and can self jump start if the main battery should become discharged

liking the sound of that

i go a little bit further with mine, in that i have solenoids to switch the batteries from parrallel (12v) to series (24v) for my winch

I'm using halfrauds advanced calcium as a main battery at the moment, has more than enough power for starting, and I know a few people have two for winching. 4 year warranty, and they are only £100 each, compared to the top yellow top at nearly £300

Granted, the yellow top is 975 CCA and these are only a smidgin under 800.
