Halfords...trade club...why are you goin there? go to a motor factor & haggle.
Youll get a better battery probably for less than the trade club price.

Theyd rather discount it rather than let you walk out the door to ****fords :)

Lol few ways to look at it.

Halfords are open on Sundays! There are loads of them so if it fails in Scotland, Ireland, London or Leeds then it can be taken back for a replacement (If you keep copy or receipt in the car) They carry such items in stock and you can get it and have it on the car in a min.

For other items they order them in so cheaper just to go to the factors or independents anyhow. There is a 4x4 place by us that orders via Landrover however he puts less mark up on the items, if you go to the main dealer 500 meters away they actually tell you to go to him as its cheaper! lol

Depends on whats been bought, if its covered under a gaurentee and the time and day.

Also I have had 2 batteries from Andrew pages and they have died but they refused to replace them one was 2 months old. Said I had to write to Boch direct to get a refund. Halfords replace it without quibble.

Oh and the trade system works in 2 ways either a % off the price or the buy in price plus a small %. So the price is not clear till you either pay or ask for a quote. And you get 2 receipts one for your customer to keep showing the full price and one for your books to show the price paid.....

:D I have on occasion mistakenly put the full price customer receipt into the accounts and claimed wrong amount!

Bosch direct for refund? THATS BOLLOCKS.
We swop no quibble, we've bought the warranty on all our batteries to prevent that happening. You bought it from them not Bosch!
