Hi
L322 4.4 V8.
On way home in London rush hour.
Battery light came on then the Power Steering went then the Central Console went bing bing bing........etc everything was saying inactive Air suspension, HDC I think I saw a few temperature messages temperature gauge went up into the red and I have never seen that before I saw transmission ... Then It went in transmission Crawl Mode. This happened all with in 2-3 minutes. When I turned it over it was very juddery and died.
So Pulled over and got flat bed recovered. I did try to drive car on flat bed, but would not start not enough battery power to turn over. Then it locked in park with absolutely no battery power. Doors would not lock and had to use key. Jump started it next day and while on donor car it started and ran smooth disconnected car ran for a minute or so and coughed and burped and died. Or when disconnecting from donor car it just died instantaneously.
Can anyone shine a light here. My betting is battery but why did I get all the other crap bing bing bing messages on console and why did I loose my power steering. Battery is only 4-5 months old from RAC if relevant.

I am now going to take battery out and put on charge over the day and night this morning.
