Can anyone tell me if Battery Gauge (part number PRC7315) is an ammeter or a voltmeter?

Some websites sell it as being an ammeter, and others sell it as being a voltmeter.

Anyone who has this gauge installed please let me know what this "battery gauge" actually is.

Chers,

There are lots of people who don't know the difference between an Ammeter and a Voltmeter, including a lot of suppliers.

PRC7315 is a VOLTMETER - regardless of what the link says

Using only the power of your eyes - read the label on the one in the picture and look at the scale on the front of the Gauge

I've got a PRC7315 in my 110 and it's definately a Voltmeter.

it does indeed look like that .its is listed as ammeter in lr parts book, so whether they list voltmeter for defenders but call it ammeter i dont know ,but thinking about it i ve only seen volt meters in defenders

Thanks for all the advice and ideas. If Paul has got one and it does volt then I suppose it will do the same for me, so next step will be to order one and get it wired up.

Thanks all.
