I have a Bosch one out of an Audi A6.
£25 from the scrappers. Its been on a year and is a belter.

Thanks. So in terms of specs, is it that I want to keep it 12v but the ah should be as high as possible? Is there such a thing as too high ah?

Otherwise it's just a question of the tray/batter size. Are these a standard measurement do you know or do batteries vary considerably? I haven't had a chance to measure yet as it's been dark in the evenings but the site above's car matching tool is listing their series iii battery dimensions as 269L x 226H x 174W.

You can't get too powerful a battery. It's good to get the most powerful you can for the dimensions.
