Datatek Well-Known Member Jan 23, 2015 #7 Just because the battery is new doesn't mean it's any good. Lots of new batteries fail quickly these days even big name brands like Varta. A DC current clamp meter will identify the level of drain from the battery (if any) Not expensive from CPC.
