Hi Guys,
My 54 plate landmark may require its injector harness lookin at soon , ive got a good idea on the process involved apart from one thing , that is if you have to dissconnect the battery or not when unpluging the red ECU to clean out any oil ingress .
I dont really want to do this as ive not got the radio code . could i connect a 12v power pack before i remove any battery leads just to keep the code or would i damage the ECU when unpluging the red plug with power in the circuit.
Any ideas would be great.

:) Many thanks not sure when im gona do it , i thought i felt a slight uneveness when stop- starting in traffic hardly noticeable really but may be the start of oil making its way down the harness.
 
Yeh ; i had a 51 plate adventurer before this one and did check quite often and never had a problem with that one .
