Another one of those faults, this is the 2nd P38a i have had one a few years ago. Batery has gone flat and it has keycode lock out. Have'nt got the code, but someone did say that there was an emergency factory setting. First problem I have had in the 6 months I have had the car, new battery as well!

Not wanting to encourage thefts or anything just been leeft carless and the Landy boys I usuually use are sht for Crimbo

Many thanks

And keep up the good work

umm didnt know there was a emergency factory setting as every one would know it and would make it easy to steal! it happened to me i had to pay £15 to rr and they give me the code. you will need to give them the chassis number jonp4

Can you not get into the vehicle at all or are you in and can't get it to start??

What year P38 is it??

You shouldn't need to pay EVER for the radio code OR the EKA code from the dealers, if you do then goto another dealer. Ive requested my EKA on two separate occasions from the dealer (lost it the first time!) and have never been charged.

-Wills :)

P.S. The 'emergency factory code' was for some vehicles that never had the EKA setting enabled, i.e. NAS and some Australian vehicles.
