Dumb question, sorry. (Not really!)

Got a bit muddy recently:rolleyes: Got a battery box full of mud:(

Should I seal this up? Or are the holes in it (Made ones) neccessary:confused:

I removed my battery box and my battery is ratchet strapped to the chassis.
Well the tray was fekked, battery would have probably fell out unattended:rolleyes:
Rip the fekker out:lol:

**** Vagrent, not in that state yet. Just want to know if the battery box needs to be vented. Don't have a rust issue (ish) yet:)

I think its advisable due to the gasses the battery release during charging, being combustible ect. I think yes needs to be vented.
VENT MAN, VENT IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Batteries need venting - but check around the compartment - mine was full of little holes and tended to fill with water. Took a long afternoon with the fibreglass and patched them up, just the "official" holes at the top now!

Could you fashion a removeable plug that could be put in just for offroading, and removed afterwards perhaps?
